School > My Village

The name of my village is Gunsa (Thankpal). It is located in the Sindhulpalchowk district whose capital is Chautara. In my village there is one monastery. Inside the monastery there are idols of the "Lord Buddha" and other Gods.

There is one river called Yangri Khola near my village. Also there is a temple of the God Shiva close by. The temple is called "Rahithane." Dashian and Tihar are the main festivals of my village and for all of Nepal as well.

The people of my village are not rich so they live simply. But they are thinking of ways to develop our village and country.

There is a government school in my village but the quality of education there is poor, so I have come to study at Yangrima. My village is more precious than a diamond. I always say, "East or west, my village is the best."
